Thank You!

Three weeks ago today our beautiful baby boy went back with his father in heaven. What a whirl wind our lives have been, but honestly the best, the saddest, the happiest, and definetly the most testimony building experience.

It honestly is amazing how at peace and how much comfort Derek and I have felt. We feel so grateful to be surrounded by so many people that love us and we know without a doubt we are loved.

So much has happened and we are starting to get back into normal life although there are hard days we feel Deyton's pressence and know that he has greater work to be doing. Honestly what more could parents ask for!

This post has been titled Thank You because we have so many people to Thank, we can not name names because there is so many that in one way or another have shown their love and support to us and we honestly feel it. So please everyone know that we Love You and are so grateful for all that you (and you all know who you are!) have done!

On another note some very exciting news! Derek and I have ordered his headstone, I am so excited to see the final product, but I will give you an idea!!!

We are really excited about it! We also found out that the Mortuary recorded the funeral (McMillan Mortuary offered all of their services to us for free they were so great to work with and honestly they did such an amazing job I couldn't have asked for anything more!) so we are just trying to figure out how to get it onto the blog so anyone can hear it! If you know how to do that any help would be appreciated!!!

Funeral Ceremony For Deyton

Deyton left this world weighing 8lbs and 11ounces which is 5 ounces more than what he was born with. It was his heart that grew because of how many people he had to touch. He fought his way back and forth from leaving this earth because he wanted to make sure some family members were there in his passing. We know how strong Deyton is and how strong his parents truly are.

We would ask you to come celebrate his short life with us and honor his presence. We have never experienced anything so happy and so sad at the same time. We know he is in a better place and that his spirit will be forever felt in all of us. Derek and Krystal would still like to Thank Everyone for their continuing support and would be privileged with your attendance.

We would like to thank McMillan Mortuary for their services. Also we would like to mention that donations have been set up in a few ways. Sunfirst Bank has an account set up under Krystal Sorensen in trust for Deyton Sorensen.

The Kash Money Miracle

At 11:10 this morning (sunday the 26'th of July), Deyton Kash Sorensen passed away peacefully in his parents arms. It was a painless passing and He left a remarkable impact on all of our lives. Never has anyone so beautiful reached the hearts of so many people so fast. He was a fighter and knew that he could not leave this earth until he could be home and spend time with his parents there.

We would like to thank everyone that has been involved and who continue to show love and support. There has not been one person who hasn't offered to help in some way. I think the love and support of everyone has made this whole process a lot easier than it should have been. Derek and Krystal are at peace knowing that Deyton has already made it back to His Heavenly Father.

The Funeral will be in the next couple of days and we will keep you updated on exact times and places.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

Derek and Krystal have been going through quite a bit the last couple of days. We have so many people to thank for the support that family and friends have given. The Fight for Deyton is not over and at this time we are asking everyone to keep them in your prayers. They need your help more than ever.

Tonight we witnessed one of the most powerful blessings where Derek was just an instrument in the hands of God. In the blessing he gave the decision that Derek and Krystal made to take Deyton home and to raise Him as long as they can.

As Derek's brother, I feel like I need to do everything I can to let people know and understand Their situation. They need as much support from all those around them and they have already witnessed miracles because of the strength from friends and family and their prayers.

We don't know how long Deyton could be with us. Miracles happen all the time!! The fight for Deyton is real and we would like you to be a part of it.

Update on baby Deyton--Day 3

Update on Baby Deyton:

Deyton's has a heart condition called Hypo Plastic Left Heart syndrome. That is just one thing, there are other things also but that is the main thing.

After they were life flighted up to Primary Children's Hospital Daddy was told that surgery was no longer an option. Deyton's heart had 4 strikes against him and there wouldn't be a surgeon that would do the surgery. The doctors also told them that Deyton's case, HIS heart, was the WORSE case they have seen in the 200 cases they have done.

So now Mom and Dad are living a parents worst nightmare. They have a few choices of what they can do for little Deyton and it's like trying to choose between walking on nails and walking on glass you don't like either choice but in order to get across you have to choose one.

They have a VERY VERY hard decision to make.

They have asked me not to go over their choices, but they haven't decided what they are going to do.

Mom and Dad are the type of people that not only LOVE their family but the LOVE their friends, in fact, their friends ARE part of their family.

They wanted me to let you guys know that they are so amazed at the love and support that quickly came in after the news started spreading. They feel the strength of the love and prayers offered for them and for Deyton. They are very thankful that they have the Gospel to help them understand the bigger picture. And have just asked that you continue to pray for Deyton.
